It is Anne's birthday and her mother decides to take her to a museum to celebrate. She goes reluctantly and does not want to look at the paintings or keep her voice down in the quiet gallery. She wants her presents and her birthday cake and party instead!
Anne sits quietly, gazing at all of the paintings, pouting. She falls asleep and encounters the best birthday party of all. In her dreams, the paintings come to life.
